By using canin.ma, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully — they set out your rights and responsibilities on the platform.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using canin.ma, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use canin.ma. Creating an account confirms you meet these requirements.
Your account
Sign-in is exclusively through Google. You're responsible for all activity on your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms.
Listings and content
You're solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and content of your listings. Every listing is reviewed before it goes live and remains subject to ongoing moderation. Strictly prohibited: dogfighting, trade in wildlife or protected species, and the sale of unweaned puppies — these listings are removed and the accounts involved are banned.
Buying and selling
canin.ma is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers; we're not a party to any transaction. Payment happens exclusively in person, on delivery — we don't process any payments, and we don't guarantee the quality, health, or legality of any animal sale. We recommend always meeting the seller, examining the animal, and reviewing its health record before paying. Posting a listing is currently free.
Messaging
canin.ma provides in-app messaging and direct WhatsApp links. The phone number on your account is shown on your listings to make contact easier. Using messaging for spam, harassment, or unsolicited marketing is prohibited.
Reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the buyer or seller in question. Fake reviews, paid reviews, and retaliatory reviews are prohibited and may be removed without notice.
Reports and moderation
Any user can report a listing or a profile. We review every report and may remove content, or suspend or ban an account, at our sole discretion, without a requirement to justify the decision in advance.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use canin.ma to: post fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content; harass or threaten other users; scrape data from the site at scale; impersonate someone else; or circumvent our moderation systems.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the photos and text you post, but you grant canin.ma a non-exclusive license to display them on the platform. canin.ma's name, logo, and design are our property and may not be reused without permission.
Limitation of liability
canin.ma is provided "as is" and is a listing platform only: we connect buyers, sellers, and service providers, but we're not a party to any transaction. You're solely responsible for your own actions, transactions, and interactions with other users — buying or selling a dog, ordering food, booking a vet appointment or any other service, and any in-person meetings arranged through the site. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for the conduct of users, the health, origin, or legality of any animal or product listed, and the outcome of any transaction or in-person meeting arranged through canin.ma.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that could harm other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Morocco.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time; the date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use canin.ma after a change means you accept the new terms.
